Product overview

How Prepreg Fabric is used.

The overview explains typical buyer context without replacing customer testing, engineering validation or official batch documents.

Carbon Fiber Prepreg Fabric combines carbon reinforcement with a controlled epoxy resin matrix before molding. It reduces resin mixing variation and supports cleaner laminate production compared with wet layup.

Woven carbon fiber prepreg is often used for visible parts and balanced laminates. UD carbon fiber prepreg is selected where directional stiffness, weight control and repeatable ply placement are required.

Prepreg orders require confirmation of fiber, resin system, resin content, volatile content, tack, backing paper, storage temperature, shelf life, roll width and packaging method.

FAQ

Common buyer questions.

Do you supply both woven and UD carbon fiber prepreg?

Yes. Woven prepreg and UD prepreg can both be discussed. The final product depends on fiber type, resin content and cure system.

Does prepreg require refrigerated shipping?

Most epoxy prepregs require controlled cold storage and may require insulated or refrigerated transport depending on resin system, distance and season.
